The Jimmy Mac Foundation was founded on the principles of Care, Compassion, Mission and Action. Together these are just not words, but the Vision of founder, James E. McKinney.

JMF is about a team making a difference in the lives of others on a national and international level. Whether it’s a community center, local charity or international organization, JMF is passionate about making a difference through the power of partnership and inspiring others.
JIMMY MCKINNEY
Founder
Jimmy is a retired health insurance professional with 38 years of leadership, finance and project/program management experience. He is currently very active in his church holding leadership positions on the steward board and outreach/mission ministries.
Along with being a life member, he is chairman of his fraternity’s (Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.) alumni chapter’s Civic Action committee and an active member of their Youth Mentoring, Spirituality and Senior Kappa committees. Jimmy is a board member of Life for Children’s ministry in Kenya and Habitat for Humanity, North Central Georgia. He also is an active member of Kairos Prison ministry in Georgia and a life member of the Virginia State University Alumni Association.
His hobbies include playing golf, cycling, watching various sporting events, reading, traveling and being a good community helper.
DEANNA MCKINNEY
Treasurer
Deanna is blessed to have had a 30+ year career with Aetna, Inc. where she was employed until her short term retirement in March, 2017.

Her passion is doing volunteer work and serving others. In her retirement, she has been able to dedicate even more time to the numerous organizations she is committed to: Feed My Starving Children, Helping Hands Ministries, Atlanta Community Food Bank, and Family Promise of Gwinnett. Deanna cites her most memorable work thus far as her efforts with Habitat for Humanity after Hurricane Katrina and travelling to South Africa to help build 12 homes for deserving families.
MARY MCKINNEY-WOMACK
Secretary
Mary is a retired elementary school teacher who taught for thirty-eight years in Hartford, Connecticut. Two of those years were spent preparing adults for their GED exam. She also taught fourth, seventh, and eighth grade before becoming the Elementary Social Studies Coach for the twenty-seven elementary schools.

Mary still teaches, Tai Chi classes and on Sundays at church. She also volunteers with a youth leadership group in the Camden County, GA community. There is always an opportunity to inspire and enlighten people of all ages. Mary receives great satisfaction from working with others.
