Global Community Outreach – Kenya Missions

Our Kenya mission trip (June 12–24) was an incredible journey. Together with our team of ten, we had the joy and privilege of serving with our extended family, Life for Children Ministry. Ministry for Kenya's Orphans We followed a bold and ambitious itinerary—and by God’s grace, we were able to carry it out fully. His presence was with us every step of the way.

Because of your prayers and generous support, JMF was able to make a meaningful impact in several areas:

  • Purchased a range of donated items, including washable feminine pads, field day equipment, arts and crafts supplies, luggage, backpacks, and school materials

  • Sponsored the construction of two mud homes

  • Co-sponsored the ongoing animal husbandry program

  • As a mission team, we delivered approximately 900 pounds of assorted donations

As a team, we were blessed to engage in a wide range of impactful activities:

  • Sorted and distributed a portion of the donations

  • Extended the gift of sight to over 600 individuals through glasses donated by the Georgia Lighthouse Foundation.

  • Fellowshipped with students, Orphan Guardians, and LCM staff

  • Attended a Church Praise and Worship experience

  • Shared prayer, meals, and connection with homeless young men (commonly referred to as street boys)

  • Visited the homes of Orphan Guardians

  • Met with participants in LCM's small business initiative

  • Helped construct two mud homes for families in need

  • Facilitated discussions with students on HIV/AIDS awareness

  • Hosted a two-day Field Day—one day of medal-earning competition and another of informal fun with students and teachers

  • Led two days of Biblical lessons centered on the theme: “You Are Incredible, Now Go Out and Give the World Your Best”

  • Dedicated and distributed 100 hardcover Bibles, generously funded and sponsored by It Is Written Bible Ministries, Baltimore, MD

  • Assisted with serving meals to the 450+ students and distributing groceries to the Guardians

  • Supported the Animal Husbandry Program through the distribution of 100 sheep to families in the local community

  • Launched the pilot phase of the “LCM Chicken Farm,” also sponsored by It Is Written Bible Ministries

  • Toured LCM’s flourishing greenhouses

  • Capped it all off with an unforgettable visit to the legendary Maasai Mara Safari

In addition to the peace and joy we returned with, JMF is also excited about a couple of new initiatives we believe the Lord has placed on our hearts: a “Water Well” project to serve a local community in need of clean water, and “Hoops in Kenya.” We’re in prayerful consideration and look forward to sharing more details soon.

We continue to be grateful for the unwavering support of our generous JMF Partners. Your kindness and commitment help transform dreams into reality—making opportunities like this possible. All glory to GOD!

With a Servant’s Heart,

The JMF Team
